OK I'll get to all that directly after I post again. The reason I came back so soon is it blue screened again. Good thing I did so I can do above mentioned. This time it gave me a set of Numbers right away. Then after rebooting I got another.

First set. *** STOP 0x00000050 (0xEF3FD4D0, 0x000000001, 0x8056B5D2, 0x00000002)

Reboot #s. BCCode:10000050 BCP1: EF3FD400 BCP2: 00000000 BCP3: 8056B5D2 BCP4: 00000002 OSVer: 5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Producy 768_1

What is the EXACT make and model of your computer?

What about the other steps I mentioned???

Let's try the following
Clean Boot XP
Here's instructions
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353

Try Manual steps to perform a clean boot in Windows XP

After you Restart the computer, try running COD again and see if you get any errors
Also
Can you right click on MyComputer>>Left click Properties
Select Hardware tab>>Device Manager
Expand (+) on Display adapter
What is the exact name of your adapter?
Double click on your adapter and wait for new window to open
Click the Driver tab
Can you supply>>>Driver Supplier, Date, & Version

EDIT>>

Good thing I did so I can do above mentioned.

Woops, sorry, I see your about to do them

Ok I have NOT gotton the other key board yet in order to do the first step. Or I'm not understanding you. However the clean boot I can do that I guess although I'm a little nervous. And that looks complicated.

As far as my computer make and model. I bought it from ibuypower a several years ago. Its an Intel 4cpu PentiumŪ 3.00 ghz.

Is that what you needed? Anyway be back in a little bit lets try the clean boot deal.

Display adapter is

RADEON x850
RADEON x850 secondary

Thanks for the info on the card
But can you also do this when you have time

Expand (+) on Display adapter
What is the exact name of your adapter?
Double click on your adapter and wait for new window to open
Click the Driver tab
Can you supply>>>Driver Supplier, Date, & Version

Also, how long has it been Blue screening, do you remember installing any new hardware
Such as your keyboard at that time
Install any new software, or updated drivers at that time?

I posted the adapter. When I expand it with the + it says: Display adapter is

RADEON x850
RADEON x850 secondary

Can I do the clean boot without my other Key board?

Ok, let me try this again
Expand (+) on Display adapter
What is the exact name of your adapter?

You answered
RADEON x850
RADEON x850 secondary

Double click RADEON x850r and wait for new window to open
(Or you can Right click on Radeon x850 and select Properties)
Click the Driver tab
Can you supply>>>Driver Provider, Date, & Version????
It should all be there

Can I do the clean boot without my other Key board?

Please, READ the link I supplied
Under Step 2: Configure selective startup options
It makes no mention of needing your keyboard before windows loads??

Also, how long has it been Blue screening, do you remember installing any new hardware
Such as your keyboard at that time
Install any new software, or updated drivers at that time?

If I'm asking to many questions at once, let me know
I'll Wait in the future for ALL the information

OK in reverse order. I replace my mouse with the same brand I had a few weeks ago. I might have tried to update mouse/keyboard settings but as far as I can recall there weren't any new updates for those devices at that time. AFTER the blue screen incident I also went to update my sound card because I hooked up my speakers that were sitting in a box for a long time since I use headphones for gaming. Here the wierd part. The reason I updated was because the speakers do not work right. They never did. Another words I went to the area where you click on each speaker inorder to test. So when I hit subwoofer for instance the back right speaker plays. If I hit another speaker an intirely different speaker soumds off. Its always been like that and I can't ever get that to work right.

Anyway adapter information. I'm a little confused since I update a few days ago. It says:

Radeon 850 series, Driver Provider, ATI Technologies Note the date 12/4/07 Version 8.442.0.0 PCI bus 1 device 0 function 1
Radeon 850 secondary series, Driver provider, ATI Technoligies 12/4/07 Version 8,442.0.0 PCI bus 1 device o function 1

A few day ago I did update my video card. Around the same time I down loaded COD4 either prior or right after. I don't recall.

Blue sreen info. I mentioned earlier that it only blue screened on me last month one time as I recall. I didn't have anymore issues with that until I down load COD4 and started playing.

I was playomh last night and this time it didn't blue screen but it did knock me out of game by completely with an error. I failed to write down that error since it was 2am. I restarted the game though and it asked if I wanted to start in safe mode. I clicked NO.

Now I am going to start playing the game with the clean boot and report back.

It's sounding as a driver issue

I failed to write down that error since it was 2am

That may have been important, but as I said, it does sound more of a driver issue than anything else
Let me know if it blue screens with clean boot

Depressed and full of anxiety is me. Oh well.

OK it would not let me play the game when I disable. I guess because punkbusters exe would not run. So I reset it and played. After about an hour it blue screened:( with a different looking error.

Bccode 100000bc BCP1 BOB805A8 BCP21A3A8121 BCP3 AE6C6B10 BCP4 0000000A OSVer 5_1_2600 SP 20 Product 768_1

Also this might be unrelated. But when ever windows starts I have in the last two weeks getting this other error when its trying to load steam unable to load C/program files/valve/steam/ steamapps/shotcreteman1/source sdk base/bin/file system_steam.dll.

ok so I hit ok and the rest of my stuff loads and then steam loads.

I need a miracle.

It's all related to COD
Did you reenable everything in msconfig or just the items related to COD?

I reanabled everything back the way it was. You know I was thinking that the first time it blue screened last month was when I downloaded the New Ventrilo. I don't think that's the problem though since I was playing COD with that programed closed. I borrowed a keyboard from my friend. Should I bother doing that memory test now or do you think its still a driver issue?

Well that doesn't really troubleshoot your problems
Why don't you go back and disable everything again as recommended by the Clean boot link
But DON'T disable anything related to COD>>You can recheck them

Restart the computer

Then see if you have troubles playing the game, this is a troubleshoot step

Should I bother doing that memory test now or do you think its still a driver issue?

Yes still do it if you have issues
You have to troubleshoot this on your end!

I borrowed a keyboard from my friend.

Remember what I posted earlier

1. Shut down your computer: click Start > Shut Down, select "Shut Down" and then click OK. Turn off your computer.
2. Connect a PS/2 keyboard to your computer
3. Turn on your computer and enter the System Setup for BIOS before Windows starts.
4. After you enter the BIOS, look for the USB Legacy Support setting. Usually, this setting is found under the Advanced, Peripheral, or Peripheral Configuration menu, however your BIOS may be different.
5. Select USB Legacy Support and change the setting to Enabled. Do not change any other BIOS settings.
6. Save the settings and exit the BIOS. Allow Windows to start.

That is so you don't have to use a different keyboard all the time to enter setup or Advanced startup selection

But in the bios, you may also want to change to boot from CD first so you can run memtest

Read over this thread again, I repeat, you must troubleshoot on your end

Wow we wow wow wow. I run the game in clean boot like you said. Ran clean, smooth, and didn't blue screen. Furthermore my temp never went up at all. Didn't do anything except that so far as the memory test.

Wow what's that tell you though. I'm excited and in a good mood.

Just keep trying to play it, if it doesn't Blue screen again
This is where your going have to troubleshoot to see what is causing the problems

By trial and error, everything you disabled at startup with msconfig
You will have to reenable slowly

As eg.. Under the Services tab, first reenable anything to do with your AntiVirus software

Then look under the Startup tab and reenable your AV there also

Reboot and try the game
I'm going to assume it will run fine

You will have to keep doing this step till you find the culprit
If I guess, It may be the Google updater Service and/or Logitech entries
But that is only a guess

Do you know what I mean by the above
The Trial and Error method?
Or more the Elimination process

O23 - Service: AVG E-mail Scanner (AVGEMS) - GRISOFT, s.r.o. - C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgemc.exe

ok so let me fully understand what I need to do.

You want me to work with both the service tab and hyjack this at the same time. Meaning enable in both places, reboot, play the game.

If that pans out I repeat the process again with service tab and hyjack until complete.

Is that correct?
