:( Alright, I borrowed Win XP froma friend, original version. I installed and found I have to crack it with in 30 days, 26 days as of this writing. My tech-expert sent me this file called, winxp_crk. And gave me instructions to crack the activation thing.
I found out in the readme, that i have to uninstall the SP1 patch if I have it(?). Though he says I don't have to uninstall it. now, can someone please explain to me how I can sucesfully get the activation thingy off my butt?

You can crack XP without any 3rd party software at all. Your Tech-Expert isn't much of an expert. :P :P

Grab a copy of XP Corp Edition. You wont have to activate it.

Yeh I have XP Pro Corp w/valid key # so I do have SP1 installed and I've also changed keys on other peoples pc's so I can put SP1 in. :P

These disks are really valuable for such problems, has an XP Activation Removal Tool on it aswell as loads of other very usefull apps

Please can someone help me out of my self-inflicted hell. I cracked XP on my computer and it seemed to be working fine. I logged on last night and it would not go go all the way. It said Windows was not activated and would I activate it now.

If I said No it leaves me at the welcome screen. Clicking on my username login, brings the message up again. Fair enough.

If I click on yes, it brings up a screen saying this copy of windows has already been activated, click ok to exit. Unfortunately it then kicks you back to the welcome screen.

I can't even get into the system to try and sort this out. Does anyone know any files I could replace, using a boot disk which would either allow me to activate through Microsoft or probably get rid of this activation problem once and for all.

Is there a way to uninstall a crack?

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated. It is killing me not even being able to get into my system.

Please please help

i've run out of time on my activation on XP Pro, i found an activation keygen thingy (it had a virus i fixed it) but although it said i'm activated when the 30 days ran out it locked me out leaving me in a perpetual "your already activated loop" can't even get into control panel.
HELP PLEASE HELP Remove address
is XP corperate "Home Edition"??? can i just instal it over the top??

ive tried installing XP Pro over the top but i when i try repair it dosnt even recognise my password :( HELP!!!!!

Why don't you thieves simply buy the software like every other legal and legit person. It sounds like you spend an awful lot of time finding ways to beat the system which is plain unethical. What some of you are doing is stealing plain and simple.. :angry:
