((ok wht happens is, like i am normally browsing and using windows, suddenly my screen goes weird and then it goes black and then i have to reset my PC, its happening too often, tell me how to solve it :'(

Hi guys, i got a display problem ((
ok wht happens is, like i am normally browsing and using windows, suddenly my screen goes weird and then it goes black and then i have to reset my PC, its happening too often, tell me how to solve it :'(

when you say wierd, do you mean it turns a slight pinkish color?
If it gradually gets a pinkish tint to the screen, and then goes black...it is likely your backlight
if not, it coud be your monitor's power cord...
and if that still isnt the problem, try plugging it into another monitor and see if you get the same problem, could be your video card

resetting the CPU would reset the monitor, causing it to temporarily restore and the quickly degenrate again...
i would say its your monitor, but to be sure, find another monitor and see if you have the same problem

I would say it's the video card.
Monitors usually last longer than the PC does.
If the video is built into the motherboard, then check to see if there is an available AGP slot. If the motherboard does not have one, you will have to get a PCI video card. Borrow one one buy one.
You can usually return video cards if that doesn't solve the problem.
My other suggestion is to borrow someone else's monitor to see if it will duplicate the problem.
