I am planing on purchasing this combo http://www.tigerdire...e...65&CatId=14 as a start to upgrading my outdated main pc. My questions are, I currently have an agi 300w power supply, will that be sufficient to run this board and 2 ide drives until i upgrade the case and power supply? Secondly, i currently am running 2 ultra 512 mem sticks, 1 is 333mgz and the other is 400mgz, are those compatible with this mobo? Lastly i have a 128meg visiontec9250 vid card, is the onboard vid better than this card? All of these components i plan on replacing anyway but one at a time.

I'm only going to not troll you since you're berencam.
First of all, don't buy from tiger direct. Their support (for when your [censored] breaks) is terrible and their shipping (rates and how they ship the product) is also terrible.
Secondly, when you go to upgrade a PC, it is generally better to buy and upgrade all the parts at once instead of buying them one at a time because by the time you buy the second part the first one will be outdated and will become a bottleneck, etc.
AMD is pig disgusting, it runs hot and doesn't perform as well as Intel does, but if you prefer AMD and have a decent cooler to keep the fires of hell (which by the way, the 6000+ series runs as hot as) at bay, then by all means go for it.
For your memory question, you are going to need to upgrade your memory to a decent speed, this is not 1998 and you will need a bit faster RAM in this motherboard. The slowest memory this board will address is 667MHz DDR2, and judging by the speed of your current memory, they are probably DDR sticks.
Next, this motherboard has no onboard memory to compare to your old video card. I'm guessing it uses either a PCI or an AGP connection. If it uses PCI you'll be fine using it on this board, however if it's AGP, you can't use it with this board and will have to upgrade your video card too. Below is a comparison of AGP versus PCI, PCI is on the left and AGP is on the right.
This board will, however, be able to support your two IDE devices just fine.
