In 2006 I bought an estimating program ($800)that requires activation number and SS Number when I first used it. Now I'm ready for a new computer
and want to transfer the program over to the new computer. The software company is no long in business so I have no way to get another code.
I still have the disk and loaded it on my new machine but it only good for 30 days and then you need to put the activation number and serial number.
I tried the old numbers on the install but it say invalid - I have checked them several times and it doesn't work. Does anyone know how I can get the program to work
without the numbers ? I have thought about using PC Mover to see if it will transfer to the new computer as a working program. When I bought it the saleman told me a way
to run the program on another machine by changing the serial number and it worked. The serial number is 1000.0000 and I have try several numbers to un-lock it.
Can anyone here sugggest something or a program that will let me un-lock it ? And do you think I'll have any luck with PCMover ?
