Software / nLite

I made a customized Windows XP Pro install Disc with nLite.

Removed IE, Outlook, unnecessary components and services, integrated SP2 and post SP2 hotfixes, increased TCP half open connections to 16 million, disabled windows file protection, and much more...

I got the installation disc down to 283 megabytes.

Software / What security software do you use?

I'm currently using Firefox, Peer Guardian 2, Sygate Firewall Pro 5.5, Spybot free, Adaware free, and AVG antivirus free on Windows XP.

No problems whatsoever.

Software / Will you upgrade to Vista?

I won't.
From what I've read, I don't see a reason to want it or need it.
Your mileage may vary though...
