Title: problems with bios flashing

i flashed my bios on my shuttle motherboard and now i cant get anything to come up when i boot my system. the board gets power but no beeps. no nothing. any ideas on how i can get my system up and running again. thanks.

You probably updated the BIOS with the wrong file.
Or maybe - did your computer crush or improper shut down during "flashing" the BIOS?

If the above situation is what you think it happened, then you'll have to:
Solution 1) take the motherboard (or the whole computer) to the service center (whoever the company make that product) and fix by them.
Solution 2) there is no solution two...


There are another possible explaination to the problem you encounter:
                                            CPU or RAM.
Either CPU or RAM is not working properly.
It might be your motherboard's BIOS get updated and cannot recognise the CPU anymore (... no, I don't think so anyway).
Or your RAM just suprisely dead...

would resetting the BIOS using the reset jumper on the MOBO help?

Resetting may help. Itsure can't hurt, all you will have to do it reset all of your settings.

You cannot reset bios if you have done a bad flash, it is dead.
