Title: Number of directories
Post by: odd1 on January 12, 2004, 10:37:40 AM
Does anyone know if Windows NT / 2000 has an upper limit on the number of directories it can have?
I know there are limits to folder depth but I can't see why there would be any restriction, other than disk space, to the number of folders you could have.
Anyone know?

I remember that there is a restriction on the number of objects (files, folders, ect.) that you could have on the root of your hard drive, but under your root i think it is unlimited.
