Title: Xp Problems..

I recently upgraded from windows 98se to xp pro and everything was ok unitl i started installing programs, it will do fine until about halfway then just freeze for about 10-15 minutes then continue fine, any tips on what is wrong here?, also does the same on uninstalling

I think your computer is slow...Did the same for me on a 400 amd k6-2

Advice: Format drive and install XP clean. M$ advise you not to upgrade 98/ME to XP. If you do and call for Tech Supp. they will just tell you to do a clean install.
