Title: Dell
Post by: vinmanboynton on February 15, 2004, 03:55:46 PM
When my computer starts, it has always stated that there was a keyboard failure.

I origionally had ME and now have XP Home.

The only problems I have is an inability to use the buttons on top (volume, home, e-mail, etc.) and the numbers keypad.

How can I resolve this issue?

I have tried to use the device manager to update the driver, but I'm told that Windows "cannot  continue the Hardware Update Wizard." In other words, it tells me that the wizard cannot find a better match.

Any advice,

Vince

Have you tried another keyboard or that board on another pc? You could just buy another $10-$20 keyboard. I like ones with a USB connection.
