I tried to update my ATI mobility driver... to play Far Cry with an up to date driver
Here is the #@§¬|¢§° ATI website's answer:
"You MUST use the drivers supplied with your laptop or notebook computer, or obtain a driver update from the manufacturer of your laptop or notebook computer."
Thank you ATI to bring me life so easy, and thank you that you understand so well the internet downloading technology... !!!

This is standard fair with any notebook whether it has a ati card or nvidia. Guess you didn't know that when decieded to buy a notebook. Notebooks aren't for gaming unless it's a Alienware.

I have a IBM T40 with a mobility 9000, and it would freeze about 3/4 way through the chapters when it would load the checkpoints. So i asked my friend and he showed me this site about omega ati drivers. I use them now and have little problems. Then again i don't play far cry anymore. Use at own risk.
