Oh God... When I bought my Sony PCG-SR7K I thought the fact it didn't have a CD or floppy drive was a great idea.
Now I need to reinstall Windows 2000, I'm in a bit of trouble. I've got a Network PCMCIA card, another laptop with a CD drive and an external HP 6200 USB CD drive.
Can anyone think of a way I can get this working?
Cheers

i couldn't find hp 6200 usb cd as hp product so please be more specific
sony's pcg-sr7k has usb port so if your usb is compatible win win2k (check on www.microsoft.com/hcl ) you can just plug your external cd to your laptop and install win2k from the cd.
