im trying to run internet connection wizard so that i can resolve an issue i have with the DSL i just bought but is says i cannot because i am not the system administrator, which is a bold faced lie! i am in fact the admin. and the only user account on the computer.
HELP BEFORE I EXPLODE!

Check the local user accounts for "Administrator"
If you don't see it than XP is has hidden it from you. This account is built-in and can not be removed, only renamed. Try logging in as it. Default password will be blank unless you changed it.

I was wondering if Patrick ever resolved his problem and if so how was it done because I'm currently going through the same ordeal and I've tried just about everything. I'm rather angry and would love to do nothing more than re-format and start from scratch but I have neither the time nor patience to do so. Please help.
Thank You.
