Hope I have the correct forum.
I am connected to cable modem via a router. I have to reboot, power down both modem and router several times hope to get online, sometimes it takes a few attempts sometimes several. Problem may occur every few days. I also check internet options,LAN, auto detect. I recently did a fresh install of OS, but this problem existed prior to this. Provider tech support has offered the above mentioned actions as a solution; however, it would seem that the problem is deeper if this is happening so often. Thanks for you help.
