Title: added 256 mb RAMBUS ECC TO Dimension 8100

I just added a NEW pair of 128MB RAMBUS ECC RAM to my Dell Dimension 8100 running at 1.3 GH with a stock pair of 64MB RAMBUS NON-ECC.  The system resources still reads low (same as before adding 256 Mb RAM).  System properties shows my RAM at 384 MB. Why did my system resources not go up?

mixing ecc and non ecc is a no no
