Ok One day outta the blue I get out of stand-by mode by moving my mouse, now I didn't notice it at first but when I go to put a Cd-Rom in my Cd Rom drive I notice the light is blinking....while there is no ready/green light on my CD-RW Now I restart and this problem is solved, but it happened again and again untill restarting didnt do a damn thing....so now I got a DVD drive with a blinking light that won't eject to put in a CD and a CD-RW that has no green light....neither read discs or show up in My Computer...need some help on this one, thanks in advance---Demi

check and make sure that when you installed them that they are both not set to master or slave if both are on same cable

look over the device in see if there's a pin hole that you can stick a needle in two eject the door?

Try to uninstall the drives themselves or uninstalling the drivers associated with them then reboot and reinstall then reboot again and see if they are recognized and operating properly. Hope it helps.
