I am reproducibly experiencing a blue screen when accessing a DVD after hibernating and resuming Windows 2K. DVD access works fine after a fresh reboot, but as soon as one has hibernated once since the reboot and then inserts a DVD - wham! To be precise, the crash does not happen right on insertion but on the first access to the DVD, i.e. also when opening the Explorer, since that seems to scan all drives before drawing the left hand side directory tree.
The bluescreen reads:
-------------
*** STOP: 0x00000027 (...)
RDR_FILE_SYSTEM
*** Address BBA2F9AA base at BBA28000, DateStamp 28b3562C -
UdfReadr.SYS
...
-------------
Any idea, fix, suggestion or workaround available?

try to find out if udfreadr.sys , is the latest version (1.03).
Anyway Udfreadr.sys causes blue screens sometimes , but normally when setting up chkdsk make corrections to the file system and you do not have any problem for a certain time .
If chkdsk didn\'t run make it run with the cmd command and then chkdsk /f and it will run at the next reboot .Or if you have a cdrw disk in your cdwriter take it out before hybernating ,could resolve the problem

Udfreadr.sys did only gave blue screens on booting up sometimes .And then after correction of the file system it didn\'t occur for a long time .Coming active afte hybernating I suppose is the same file process as booting up ,because everything has to be reactivated .It occured mostly with w2k before sp1 ,after sp1 it was rare .I never got this problem with hybernating because I changed the settings to \"never\" instead of after xx minutes
