Title: administrator's password

Hi all. Can someone advise me hows the best to way to log in as an administrator without the password. I brought a secondhand laptop but do not have the admin password (clever eh!).
I've tried Admin with the password blank but this does not work.

its a toshiba Satellite pro 4600.  

I have the MSblaster worm SVCHOST and want to download the service pack 4 but need admin rights

Here are steps to get admin privileges but will not grab/retrieve passwords, just reset them to blank, etc so that you can log-in as administrator. Provided in this link:

It is Linux based and once you have configured it to a Floppy/CD and used as a boot disk, Steps are fairly easy to reset Administrator Password and will take less than two minutes to reset PW and re-boot as Administrator.  /biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
