Hi Guys,
I have recently re-formatted my Windows XP Home, IBM Touchpad R32 Notebook.Pentium 4, Intel Mobile CPU 1,6GHz, 256RAM.
Since the re-format, the speed of the computer has decreased a lot.
I have the same programs installed as before, including the Norton 2004 Security I was running before.
Programs are reacting much slower, and when reading word or PDF files, the pages hang for a while every time I scroll down.
The CPU usage at the Windows taskmanager peaks quite often close to 100%.
Is there anything I can do, to have the old speed of my notebook back....?
Becoming desperate,
Regards,
