Title: Smart-Security

I am really angry and Smart-Security is driving me crazy. I know that this has been posted like a month ago and I tried everything they said but ever since I deleted things,
1. I open IE and this ugly message comes up about spyware infecting my computer etc.
2. When I close the window a nasty NASTY PORN advertisement pops up, filling up my whole screen.
3. It disappears and a pop up comes again and I have to delete it.
4. My computer runs MUCH, much slower
5. The black window on my desktop disappeared, but now my desktop is white and my icons are blurry, and then my desktop changes to a light brown.

And I'm NO computer whiz, so PLEASEEE, somebody help me get rid of this Smart security thing!

 I too have the same problem with smart security.My computer slowed down and the desctop is black with the Words warning YOUR IN DANGER written on it.At the bottom it has removal instructions but all it does is take you to there site were they tell you how porn can ruin your life yet they are advertising viagra and that goddamb smart security thing .someone plz help!

We need to find out how to prosecute Smart-Security.  This amounts to nothing less than extortion.  I run a business from my home and need my computer.  This Smart-Security has compromised my operations and I am going to require remuneration from this company.  Anyone who wants to join in a class-action suit, please email me at [email protected].  Thank you.

I need to get my hand on the nerd that created this goddamn [censored]!!!!
Can't get this thing off my computer....it seems to regenerate it self, but I don't know where the regenerating file hides. Spybot, HiJack This, CWShredder, and AboutBuster can't remove this thing.

What you have to do is update your virus scanner, or run an online virus scan at symantec.com. It probably can't delete the virus (it's a trojan), but it puts it in quarantaine. You can get rid of the annoying desktop wallpaper by going to Start>Control Panel>Display>Desktop>Customize Desktop>website tab..and unclicking a security thing for the page.
I'm not sure wheter your computer runs faster after you did all this, but at least you're rid of the annoying desktop wallpaper.
What I did was also run hijackthis, Adaware and SpyBot Search and Destroy.
