Hi everyone! I've also beem hit hard with my msconfig being gone. After trying everything I got so pissed that I called my computer company for help! Well they couldn't help me but what was even worse was the person sitting there in asking me to do something that I had just told her I couldn't do! So here I 'am on the phone really screaming what the heck are you doing just sitting there in looking at the screen when I can do that! I more or less said you guys are useless to people for what you get paid.

My question is if I use the msconfig ulity that I down loaded to help with my Windows Me disk to get back my msconfig box will I lose all my data? I've got a dell dim 4100 with Windows Me I still have programs running in the back ground but I can't close them because I 'm not able to get to my misconfig box to check things off my close progam box. And yes I had a bunch of adware in used avg 6.0 anti virus to get rid of it. And also got hit with the vbs script bug got rid of that two!!
