Title: LDM not registered

After instaling a new HDD as primary slave
I could not  use windows  internal HDD manager
because of this error message  
" Logical Disk Manager is not registered
LDM supports windows 2000 or later
please check OS version on machine  XXXXX "

My PC  mobo Abit is7  P4 2.8 GHz 500 MB memory
with win 2kproSP4
May be I have disabled some services but I
no not know which is connected with this service

I have a similar problem, I get:

Logical Disk Manager (LDM) is not registered.
LDM supports Windows 2000 or later.
Please check OS version on machine COMPUTER.

All I can do is click OK.
