Title: overburning and reading

I have a Philips16x10x40CDRW  and  Asus Cdrom.
Does the philips161040CDRW supported the overburning???  and  
Does the Asus CdRom(50X) supported the reading cd which is overburned(no650 or 700 Mb... yes 840-900Mb) with philips cdwriter(16x10x40)???

Any ideas would be appreciated.
