Title: Removing the "highlight" from selected

Currently I'm modifing my desktop to become clear and seamless. Basiacly when you click on a section on the desktop (wallpaper) Theres a hidden icon. So far I've been able to create invisible icons and blank text, all I need to do now is remove the highlight.

Yes this does sound stupied and probally causes more problems then relieves, but thats the lengths some customizers go to /tongue.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':P\' /> . Anyone know how do do this? or is it locked with the windows configuration?
