Lately, my computer has been acting sort of strange. When I sign on, it says "Invalid Backweb application id "137903" I'd really appreciate it if someone can look over my hijackthis log. Thanks!!!

Nothing too malicious in your log but you can definitely control some items on startup
Download this utility to help control startup items---It's a small download
Codestuff's Starter (http://\"http://codestuff.tripod.com/StarterSetup.zip\")
Save the Zip file to your desktop and then Unzip it to your desktop
Double click on StarterSetup to install it
After installation open up Codestuff Starter
Disable these entries from running on startup
C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\GameChannel.exe
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA.EXE
C:\Program Files\Updates from HP\137903\Program\BackWeb-137903.exe

RESTART your computer to disable them from running
All of the above can put a drain on your system resources
Navigate to this file after restart
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe
Rename realsched.exe>>>realsched.old
This will ensure it won't startup and has no effect on Realplayer
It may be named just realsched, XP doesn't show known extensions by default
Personally, I would uninstall the Wild tangent software unless you really use it
It has been know to act just as spyware
Access your add/remove programs and Remove if found
WildTangent Web Driver
WildTangent Updater
WildTangent GameChannel
Also Remove this in add/remove programs, it's not related too Wild Tangent
Viewpoint Manager
I would also recommend uninstalling Weatherbug if it's the free version, it brings unwanted popups and ads to the desktop
There are spyware free alternatives
RESTART your computer again after removing ALL or any of the above
After Restart, you still have problems on your computer
Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05 (http://\"http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button\")
Ensure you have this version or later
After installation-CHECK FOR UPDATES
Do a Full system scan----Remove All Critical objects
RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process
Post back with a Fresh hijackthis log afterwards
You will still have some cleaning to do
Could you also let me know what programs you decided to uninstall from the above
in Add/Remove Programs
So we can get rid of the leftovers
Edit---I just realized that your running hijackthis from your temp folder
Please Create a Permanent folder for hijackthis and save the program there
Eg...Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT
OR create a folder as C:\HJT---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.
redownload from

May be named just alcxmntr, by default Windows XP hides known extensions
This should prevent it from starting up, if you have any problems, rename it back to
previous setting
You can delete your backups that hijackthis made when everything is running smooth
