I had a Lexmark Z52, i think, for about 3 days.  It wanted to phone home to PaPa every time I used it or Booted.  Lexmark denied it tried to access the internet, but ZA caught it everytime & blocked it.  There was no way to disable it from trying to get on the internet. LexMark used one driver for standalone & networked printers.
It just looked for a NIC & decide that I must want to let the world have access to my system.  It proceeded then to get on the internet with its message that I was available.

I gave it to someone that used it on a non-internet system.

Good printer, copier, scanner at $139 for those people that are not parnoid on privacy.

Well I'd say you need to build a new computer or do some major upgrades. The CPU (2slow), Burner (2slow), Ram (need512) and Video card (2old) need to be replaced. This system won't play the latest games.
