Hey, i am thinking about getting a laptop.

Does anyone know of problems with vaios, are they good notebooks?

sorry, thats supposed to be refer 10 ppl for the 40gb ipod.
Please tell me what you think of the sony though.  I havnt heard of any problems with them.  I am also interested in Hp.  Please tell me what you think.

Man, if you are going to pay the price of a Sony, you might as well just buy a Thinkpad,  Sonys are way overrated.

I mean thats just my opinion.

I repair laptops locally, and I have run into quite a few Sony K series.

I have had to completely take at least two of these units apart because of stupid things like loose motherboard screws and dumb stuff like that.

I have also noticed that the K series are just heavy in all the wrong places. It just feels stupid to hold them. They are not balanced at all...

Sorry to be so negative, just being honest with my experiences.
