Title: Installation Blues
Post by: Bud S on July 17, 2001, 01:40:29 PM
Hi all : I\'ve been trying to install 2000 server for 2 days on a WD 40 gig hard drive attached to a Tyan S2390 with 512 mem.......everything goes smooth until the system is half way through then it keeps telling me that the so and so file won\'t copy.If I get that file to copy another one pops up quickly......I tried copying the disk to a separate partition and installing from that and still have same problems....also used another disk (2000 server) and still same crap...(groan)...I really don\'t want to run my car over the entire setup...might hurt the tires  /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />...any ideas ??...  Thanks Much: Bud S

Try  changing fsb  in the bios \"cpu soft menu\" .
your board is a fsb 200 board , sdram 133 memory .
try fsb 133 x ? , depends on the cpu .If you do not understand what you are doing , leave everything as it is .
