It just happens at any old time, sometimes it will happen twice in a day sometimes not for weeks. I thought it was heat but I have my Athlon XP2000+ idleing at 40*C.
I get the impression it's some sort of hardware or IRQ conflict. I can't really think of any hardware I have added and then this just showed up at all. The most recent addition is a USB ADSL box, but I am sure it was all fine for a while there.
Any assistance is appreciated
