Title: Where did I lose Password?

I recently rebooted my Newest stand alone desktop, It shows I need to reinput the ADMN password, It starts to go, then says shuting down. What diid I do, or what do I do now.  I had to pull my old Compac out  and set it up just to connect. Your help would be appreciated.
