Title: access denied to my files??

Have been re-doing a network of 4 machines. by reformating 3 and the one with all the files on i have deleated the network settings. All the files were stored in the "shared Documents" folder. After i removed all the network settings by reinstalling the network adapters. When i access the "shared documents" i get an error message saying "...is not accessible.
asses is denied"

i am logged in as the administrater and i never had any passwords on the different accounts or the shared area.

How can i get access to these files? They are of vital importance to a small charity i work for. I hope it can be done and if not is there a way of using a data recovery program or something?
