Title: Win2000 Registration?

I installed a legal Win2000 & did not register it with MS.
It installed a Registration Folder in the WinNt folder.  It contains 3 files.  One file with one  MB & two with 15KB.
Is this a HASH of my computer hardware, software, & Win2000 ID?  I can not view the file contents.  Is this SPYware for MS?
