Need help with Daosearch. It has taken over my homepage on my sbcyahoo browser, which I wasn't using until I was forced to because on my Mozilla firefox browser, strange links to Daosearch were appearing all over including my own website. I am in need of some serious help.

We should be able to get you clean, but could you do me a favor please
Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools section>>Open Uninstall Manager
Click the "Save List" button
Save to desktop and copy and paste the contents back here, thanks
I'm just checking on something
After you have done that can you do the following
Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05 (http://\"http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/\")
Ensure you have this version or the paid version
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Perform a Full system scan
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button
RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process
Post back a fresh Hijackthis log

How do I show you what is in
C:WINDOWS\system32\Services
-
I haven't had this hard a time removing those file before
You must follow these instructions exactly
Try this again
Save these instructions too a Notepad file and then disconnect completely from the Internet>>>CLOSE This window and all others you don't need open
Open up the notepad file only
Then
Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Disk Keeper] C:\DOCUME~1\Feet\LOCALS~1\Temp\keep.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Service Host] C:\WINDOWS\system32\Services\{354BA582-301C-4766-B48A-753176DC65C0}\SVCHOST.EXE
After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis
Open Windows CleanUp! and click the CleanUp button
Let it finish cleaning
Don't log off or restart the computer
Instead
Run Pocket KillBox>>Now killbox and this notepad file is open
In the Full Path of File to Delete box, copy and paste the entire line directly below in bold, do not type this in
C:\DOCUME~1\Feet\LOCALS~1\Temp\keep.exe
Select the radio button to
Replace on Reboot
Also check the "Use Dummy"
Click The Red circle and a white X
When prompted to Replace on Reboot, click YES
If prompted to Reboot Now, Click NO
Do the same for this file name
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Services\{354BA582-301C-4766-B48A-753176DC65C0}\SVCHOST.EXE
But this time allow the computer to Reboot
or Restart anyways
Back in Windows
Find and delete this folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Services\{354BA582-301C-4766-B48A-753176DC65C0} <-folder
Post back a fresh Hijackthis log afterwards
I don't understand the question
How do I show you what is in
C:WINDOWS\system32\Services
Navigate to the Services folder, double click to open it and tell me what you find in it!
