Title: Burn a .avi to a DVD

I am pretty much a beginner with this, but I have a movie that I downloaded off the net to my hard drive.  Now I would like to burn it to a dvd.  Please help me without getting to technical.

download a dvd-r instead of the .avi and burn it to a dvd and it will play.......downloading movies is illegal, just don't get caught      /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
