Title: Sony Notebook, With ps/2 Mouse

I Have A Sony pcg-xg700k. and I Bought a ps/2 mouse that plugs in to the docking bay, When ever i turn on my computer, the mouse responds in an awkard manner. The Mouse pointer jumps all over the screen when i move the mouse. And Isnt Very Stable. I Was wondering how to overcome this problem, and if any or all notebooks are effected by this problem

have you tried using a different mouse? it might not be a laptop problem, but something wrong with your mouse.
