Yes, as I mentioned when I gave you instructions for the fixes
ALL other windows have to be closed when fix checking with Hijackthis, Including this one

I messed up my copy and paste to my reply
I fixed the above instructions in my first post  /huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Can you make sure this file is deleted
C:\Documents and Settings\Dbutler\Application Data\srai.exe <-file

Could you also
Download and UNZIP to desktop
FindIt.ZIP, so you now have findit.bat and findit2.bat on your desktop

Double click on each and post back the contents of the text files that open

Could you do that now please

all the windows where closed, so i dont know what it was talking about

i also looked srai.exe in the location you specified, but it wasnt their (all of the hidden files where shown too)

these are what each of the findit files brought up:
findit.bat:
Volume in drive C is IBM_PRELOAD
 Volume Serial Number is 28FD-A7A3

 Directory of C:\WINDOWS\system32

02/08/2005  09:31 AM           417,792 d?xplore.exe

 Directory of C:\WINDOWS\system32

               1 File(s)        417,792 bytes
               0 Dir(s)   9,368,961,024 bytes free

findit2.bat:
Volume in drive C is IBM_PRELOAD
 Volume Serial Number is 28FD-A7A3

 Directory of C:\WINDOWS\System32

08/04/2004  02:56 AM           514,560 logonui.exe

 Directory of C:\WINDOWS\System32

               1 File(s)        514,560 bytes
               0 Dir(s)   9,368,891,392 bytes free

thats everything.

Findit2.bat looks clean

Can you do the following please
RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE (http://\"http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001060608000039?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=4#_Section4\")
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, after the single post beep, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation

Next use Windows Explorer to navigate to this location and delete the file in bold:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\d?xplore.exe <--this file was created or modifed on 02/08/2005 and is 417,792 bytes in size.
Approx. 408kb
The d?xplore.exe file may not have the typical .exe icon, so look closely

The ? in the file name is not really a ?, it is just a character that Windows doesn't recognize.

The best way to find this file is to click on (in Windows Explorer) View, Arrange icons by... and select Size.  Then look for files that are 417,792 bytes that were created or modified on 3/17/2005 at 12:01 PM.  There shouldn't be more than one.
When you find the bad file, send it too the recycle bin

Restart back to Normal mode

Back in normal mode, post back one last hijackthis log and also
Double click on findit.bat again and post the contents of the text file

It will have a different letter

My copying and pasting today has gone to the dogs

The findit.bat file looks clean now

I first mentioned the file would be created or modified on 02/08/2005

Then I said look for a file created or modified on 3/17/2005

My apologies, good work on tracking down the right file

If everything is running better
You should disable system restore---restart your computer--enable system restore
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
Once reenabled it will create a fresh restore point
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature (http://\"http://vil.nai.com/vil/SystemHelpDocs/DisableSysRestore.htm\")

Once back in Windows and System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks

SpywareBlaster 3.4 by JavaCool (http://\"http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html\")
*Will block bad ActiveX Controls
*Block Malevolent cookies in Internet Explorer and Firefox
*Restrict actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial (http://\"http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtutorial=53\")
Download link (http://\"https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm#IESPYAD\")

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks
Keep the link to IE-Spyad bookmarked so you can check for updates
SpywareBlaster, after every update just simply enable all protection
