Title: virtual memory question

im working on a buddy of mine's computer
hes got a 40 gig harddrive and another 13 gb HD and 256 mb of ram
he doesnt store much stuff on here so is there anyway u could use the smaller 13 gig harddrive just for virtual memory?
or is too much virtual memory a bad thing?
otherwise, how much should the VM be set at.

Min & max set to 1.5 times your phisical memory.
That's in your case, you should set 384MB (256*1.5) to both min & max.
