Title: Windows 2K setup

i recently got a windows 2000 cd, and when i was installing it, my computer said that it only serves for a dell pc. is it possible to bypass/override this so i can install windows 2000 successfully?

just in case, my computer is a intel Celeron 1.7 Ghz with 768 Mb DDR ram, currently using the Windows 98se operating system.

sorry for the triple post, but can io go into the files in the win 2k disk and change some things, so that this message about it not recognizing my computer as a dell can be ignored?
