Guestolo: This computer uses a shared internet connection from the one we just spent 3 weeks cleaning.

Can you do the following for me please
Right click the bottom task bar and select Task manager

Under the Users tab, Log off any other users but the one identity your using now to post the log

Print this out or copy too a notepad file and save to your desktop for reference

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Restart your computer

Back in Windows

Don't open a browser yet
Find and delete this folder if it exists
C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker <-folder

Access Internet Options via Control Panel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab---Delete files + offline content---Also Reset home page

NOTE:
If prompted from Microsoft Anti-Spyware about any changes
ALLOW them so it won't interfere with any fixes we are trying

After your have done the above
Run another scan with Hijackthis and post a fresh log

Could you also open Ad-Aware
Under the Initialization Status
Let me know reference file and Internal build

Open Spybot>>Click on HELP>>About
Let me know Spybot version and latest detection update date

When I completed the first set of instructions, to have hijack this delete those entries, as soon as it was done, coolweb search triied to install instelf.  MS ASpyware caught it, but I suspect it sneaks through somehow anyway.

Spybot version is 1.3, detection update, 6-2-05 (I updated yesterday)

Can you do the following please
I won't be able to identify the bad guys if you let Microsoft Anti-Spyware interfere with anything we try
I need you to disable the realtime protection, and keep it disabled until we get you clean
=Right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware tray icon by your clock (it's the one with the red and yellow bulls-eye).
=Click on "Security Agents Status".
=Click on "Disable real-time protection".

Next, open Microsoft Anti-Spyware.  [list=1]
Finally, Right-click on the MSAS tray icon, select "Shutdown Microsoft Antispyware", and click "Yes" in the dialog that comes up.

Next:
From my Signature below, download and save to desktop CWShredder.exe

Close out all other windows, including this one
Open CWShredder and click on the FIX button
Let it fix what it finds
Afterwards

Restart your computer

Back in Windows

I run Ad-Aware, Spybot and Mic. anti-spyware on this machine

Can you do the following please
Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06 (http://\"ftp://ftp.download.com/pub/win95/utilities/aawsepersonal.exe\")
Ensure you have this version or the paid version
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Perform a Full system scan
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button

RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process

Back in Windows
Spybot has been updated
You are still receiving updates but you should update to the latest version
Here's the steps I like to take
Open Spybot
Click on RECOVERY
Select all objects and Purge selected objects
Click on the Immunize button

OK it and then click UNDO at the top
Also uncheck Enable permanent blocking of bad addresses in IE
Close out Spybot

Enter your Add/Remove programs via Control panel and Remove Spybot 1.3
Restart the computer if prompted

Back in Windows

You can download Spybot 1.4 from either of these links
Click HERE (http://\"http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10401314.html?tag=lst-0-1\") or HERE (http://\"http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html\")

While installing I would ALLOW to enable permanent blocking of bad address with SDHelper
Run a scan but first do the following
Click the UPDATE button on the left
SEARCH FOR UPDATES on the right
Check, and download all updates
Click the Search & Destroy button on the left
Check for Problems---When the Scan is complete
FIX all selected promblems in RED

RESTART the computer to finish the cleaning process if any bad guys fixed

Back in Windows
When installing Spybot
If you didn't choose to Immunize while installing
Ensure you do it now
Click the Immunize button>>OK>>Immunize at the top
Do this after every update

Post back with a fresh hijackthis log afterwards

Looks good, how's everything on your end?
I notice you still have MAS still enabled

I hope you completely disabled it during the fixes......

After your clean is the time to reenable it
