Are you trying to change the login backround? If so, I used a program called X-tech's X-setup. It has alot of options to change windows, including the login backround. Give that a try it may help, if not for many other things.

No, i installed StyleXP and tried to change my bootscreen.
There was a link to download a Tutorial (what i`ve done)
And in this tutorial it says: "download a palette [is this the right word, `cause i`m from germany!] what i`ve also done.

So where to put this palette?

Because in the bootscreen, there are images which can only be displayed by photoshop with this palette!

thx 4 help

To load Palette 16.Act for Photoshop,Click Image>Mode>Color Settings>Custom>Load. Then navigate to wherever you saved the palette and click OK. /smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />

That is: Color Table, not Color Settings.
