Title: burning dvd from avi

to burn dvd disc to play on the television what is nessesary. i have alcohol 120% but it seems like i need another program to go from avi to image, because the program wants to go from image to dvd. so if i am right what program do i need, if im wrong will someone please correct me

This may not be much of an anwser, but all I can think of is Nero. It has a sub-program that converts video files to dvd format(.vob) and burns them. I have alcohol 120% as well, the only thinbg that I don't like about it is that it wont let you burn files to disk, only images. I hope this helps.
