plz reply! ive made a boot screen but cannot make a login screen!

XP type person, I don't have the answers youy need but perhaps you can help me. I am attempting to edit and/or create a new boot screen for my XP Home edition. I have resource hacker and am following the tutorial at 'thetechguide.com' I 'm good until I need to load that little plug-in, or what ever it is, named 16.act into photoshop in order to actually see the boot logo images.

Am working with Photoshop 9 cs. How do I load that file to photoshop and where does it belong?

Found the answer in an earlier post. Image>Mode>Color Table>custom>Load. This loads the 16.ACT palette to photoshop
