Title: Errors with Spyware and Maybe Virus

Hi,

Whenever i restart my computer i get 3 messages: A "send error report" message saying winlogon.exe could not be opened (or failed), and 2 rundll errors: "e6f1873b.dll could not be found" and "aunps2.dll could not be found." I also have norton anti-virus, have run spybot and adaware numerous times. After a few minutes the screen goes blank and resets.(computer does not restart but the screen goes blank except for wallpaper and then comes back up but whatever programs I was running ,IE, forexample has now closed and I get the dll messages all over again. Please Print this out or save these instructions to a Notepad file and save it to your Desktop
Know how to restart into safe mode ahead of time
I'll need you to do this shortly

Disconnect from the Internet

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Access your Add/Remove programs and remove if found

You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, just before Windows loads, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation

Set Windows To Show Hidden Files and Folders
    * Click Start.
    * Open My Computer.
    * Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    * Select the View Tab.
    * Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
    * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    * Uncheck the Hide Extensions for known file types
    * Click Yes to confirm.
    * Click OK.

Find and delete these files or folders if found
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wintask.exe <-file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\clbcatex.exe
Search for the next files and delete if found
AUNPS2.DLL,_Run@16
E6F1873B.DLL
D9EBC318C

C:\Program Files\Media Access <-folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\vidctrl <-folder

Return to Normal mode
Download L2mfix from here

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.
