Title: Cannot Download Files
Post by: jdb69 on July 23, 2005, 09:26:10 AM
My daughter cannot download files from the internet nor can she open or save a file attached to an email (Yahoo!).
When she goes to download a file from the internet the File Download-Security Warning window opens and she will click on run/open or save and this is what she says happens:
"I get file download ,asking if I want to open or save a file, when I click on either, my computer attemps/slight flash, then nothing. The screen remains the same."
Can anyone please help?

heya, got a few questions before i can try and help...

1 are you using windows and if so what version (also, if so dont coz its crap lol)

2 are you using some sort of security system like firewalls or antiviruses and what are they

3 what exactly happens again? from what i read, it seems like the screen flickers a bit, then it settles down again and nothing has happened; is that right?

speak to u soon
