i installed office 2k and when i start powerpoint i get visualc++ runtime error and abnormal pro termination pls help

You just need to reinstall it again...whatever the technical solution to the actual poblem is probably far far more difficult and probably almost worthless to know...if there is really even a problem ;-P....never know with office.

Ok if you have reinstalled it...and same problem exists....best place to honestly is check   www.microsoft.com  look for c++ runtimes i guess...for the love of god i have no idea what to tell you to look for on that problem...when all fails i guess you could run it off disc...or does that work??
