Title: Microsoft Binder
Post by: Cmac405 on September 07, 2005, 08:35:09 PM
/rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' /> My friend has Office 2000 and tried to create a binder for her documents.  Everything seemed fine but she can't get it to print.
Any help on how to correctly set it up, etc.,would be appreciated.

Do the following:

Click on Start
Click on printer and faxes.
(If you see the name of your printer there that means the drivers are installed.)

Double Click the Printer Icon

Let’s assume that the printer icon with the model number that you have is listed there as an icon, double click it.

Under the Pull down menu make sure the printer is set as the default printer.
Make sure that the “Printer offline is unchecked

Are the Drivers installed as SpaceSquad suggested? If not, you can usually find the drivers in the manufacturer's website.

Check the simple stuff:
Does the printer have ink?
Is everything connected correctly? Double check the printer is connected properly.
Last, does the document leave the printer icon as soon as you hit the print button or does it stay and read Status “Error”?

Hope this information helps on this particular problem.

She didn't have the binder set up correctly and once we fixed it, it printed out okay.   Thanks a bunch /rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />
