Title: MSI must be launched through setup

Everytime I power on the computer I get a new error message:
MSI must be launched through setup.  Norton Anti-virus is loading. click cancel. This goes on for 3 tries then it exits. When I start up MS WORD I get the same problem. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

I had this same problem with Norton Antivirus.  Here was their solution:

How did you make out when you used it? Did it remove anything you did not want it to?  thanks for the reply!

I was afraid to do it. Now I think I need to do it. It is really happening when I launch any of the Microsoft Office software like Excel and Word.
