I voted Panda...cause its the best full suite (AV, anti-spyware, etc...are all great).

I use Kaspersky though...cause I never use windows (linux fanboy).

McAfee and Norton are just terrible...nothing but ressource-hogging bloatware. PCCillin is a pretty good AV...for a "mainstream" AV program...also affordable.

AVG is decent...but if you really want protection...you gotta fork out a bit of money for Panda, Kaspersky, or PC-cillin.

Does anyone else have an opinion?

I heard Avast is good but I have not tried it out yet and not planning to untill I get a review.

I kinda vote Norton lol. They're just some money-faces, but their products are quite efficent.

err.....

..actually AVG and Avast! have been proven to find more stuff than Norton....

...and they're free. Norton also hogs much more sytem ressources.

mcafee sucks i had it before and alot of problems........i had norton and it was ok, ya dat is true that it takes up alot of resources.....i deleted it and got avg free......and its ok...it found some trojans......i scan my computer with different virus/trojan/worm scans from online ....that avg doesnt see but avg does way better then mcafee....does anyone know some good online scans that i can use that work very well.....?

Post vote goes for Kaspersky 5.0.  Ever since I've had I haven't had any problems on my computer and it has saved me several times...

My vote would go to avast but since its not on the poll my next vote would go to panda.
Also i wanted to add i hate norton av because you almost cant get rid of it after its been installed
bits a peices remain all over my registry after I uninstalled it..........
