Title: Samsung Digimax 800k (Wires needed!)
Post by: Level6 on October 11, 2005, 07:30:29 AM
I have a Samsung Digimax 800k and i need to know where i can find a wire for it. The wire that it uses is not a USB one, it's a different type...i think it is the Digital part you have to put the wire in and then plug it into your computer.

I hope you guys understnad me.

If you don't i make it simple....i need a wire that connects from the Samsung Digimax 800k to the computer...and the camera doesn't have a USB port...so it's another type of wire.

Does anyone know where i can find it?

I don't know what it's called but mine has a serial connector on one end and a 3 way (stereo) mini jack plug on the other end.

It's an RS-232 serial cable. Guaranteed! Read here:

# Optical viewfinder saves battery power and lets you get the best shot.
# RS-232 serial cable quickly transmits images from the camera to your computer.
# Built-in timer lets you get in your own pictures.

You can get it in any stores that sells computer stuff probably. Futurehsop/bestbuy, etc. would probably have it too.
