Title: another vundo trojan!

Hi!

I have a problem. My computer has been infected by a trojan.vundo bug. Norton has identified the file as c:/windows/system32/vturo.dll.
I've tried both methods recommended by Norton Antivirus: using the vundofix executable, and also going manually into regedit - neither has worked. The first one failed to ID the bug, and the second seemed to be unique to a certain computer... not generalizable to mine!

I downloaded hijackthis and have it here... someone please help me, everything is so slow on this computer now..

Don't run this yet, we'll need it in a bit
Alternate download location (http://\"http://www.spywareaid.com/index.php?file=showsoftware&id=1\") if having trouble with the first link

Follow the next instructions closely
Please download [color=\"red\"]VundoFix.exe[/color] (http://\"http://www.atribune.org/downloads/VundoFix.exe\")[/url] to your desktop.

Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files
This will create a VundoFix folder on your desktop.
After the files are extracted

Print this out please
In the event you don't have a Printer, Save these instructions to notepad for reference

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode. You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode then hit enter.

Once in safe mode open the VundoFix folder and doubleclick on KillVundo.bat
You will first be presented with a warning and a list of forums

Pressing any key will cause a "Blue Screen of Death" this is normal, do not worry!
Once your machine reboots please continue with the instructions below.

Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files
DECLINE to Log off or Restart when scan is done.

Visit [color=\"red\"] Panda's ActiveScan[/color] (http://\"http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/activescan.htm\")[/url]
and select scan "MyComputer"

When it's done
Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

Although... those two adware warnings are odd. Norton did not detect them (I ran a full system's check), and the files they refer to don't even exist...
